About ANANKE FANTASY
ANANKE FANTASY is both my self-publishing name and the name of the comic book series I publish. Ananke (pronounced "ah-nang'-kee") is a primordial goddess in Greek mythology who, along with Chronos, marks the beginning of the cosmos. Fantasy is a literary genre in which magic and imagination play a dominant role. In French, it can also be translated by the word "fantaisie", which evokes the freedom of creation ;)
About me
I have always been fascinated by world building books such as The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien. It was while watching Japanese anime and video games with my family that I was inspired to express my ideas in the form of a comic book. Since I had no artistic background, I learned the basics of computer graphics on the Internet before publishing ANANKE FANTASY.
